Weeks after a security incident near Niamey International Airport in Niger on January 28th, Compagnie Aérienne ASKY has confirmed that its flight operations across the network continued without disruption.
The airline reported that two ASKY aircraft sustained minor damage while parked overnight, but no passengers or crew were present during the incident. Both aircraft have since undergone maintenance and safety checks and are back in service.
ASKY management emphasized that the incident did not affect scheduled flights, and operations across its network have remained fully operational. “The safety and security of our passengers, crew, and assets remain our top priority,” the airline said.
Passengers whose schedules were initially impacted received alternative travel arrangements, and ASKY reiterated its commitment to uninterrupted and safe service across all routes.
