The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has taken note of the video circulating on social media regarding an interaction between Aviation Security (AVSEC) personnel and a passenger at Osubi Airport.
The Managing Director/Chief Executive views the matter with utmost seriousness and has directed an immediate investigation to establish all the facts and circumstances surrounding the incident.
FAAN remains committed to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, safety, security and customer service across all its airports. The outcome of the investigation will guide any further action that may be considered necessary. Should the investigation establish any breach of FAAN’s operational procedures or professional standards, appropriate administrative and disciplinary measures will be taken in accordance with the Authority’s regulations.
