Kenya Airways has unveiled a strategic partnership with Nigerian Afropop star Yemi Alade as part of efforts to deepen its footprint in West Africa and connect with new audiences across the region.
The airline’s Chief Commercial and Customer Officer, Julius Thairu, announced the collaboration, stating that it underscores Kenya Airways’ commitment to strengthening its presence in West Africa through meaningful partnerships.
“We’re excited to announce a strategic partnership with global superstar Yemi Alade, reinforcing our commitment to strengthening our presence in West Africa through meaningful collaborations that connect us with new audiences,” the airline said in a press release on Monday.
The partnership comes as Kenya Airways continues to expand its capacity in the region. The carrier recently upgraded its Lagos route with the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, now operating six times a week to and from the Nigerian commercial capital.
As part of the collaboration, Alade’s fans can access an exclusive 10% discount on Kenya Airways flights using the promo code KQXYEMI.
The partnership signals the airline’s deepening interest in Nigeria, Africa’s largest economy, and its reliance on cultural influencers to drive brand visibility and customer loyalty in competitive aviation markets
