South Africa’s aviation industry has earned high praise, with four of its airlines recognized for outstanding service across Africa.
According to msn.com, South African Airways, Airlink, LIFT and FlySafair have all been recognized for service excellence in the Africa region.
According to the Skytrax World Airline Awards, these airlines featured in the top 10 of the Best Airline Staff in Africa 2024.
“The Best Airline Staff Service awards recognise the combined quality of front line airline staff service for both the airport and the onboard experience,” said Skytrax.
On the list, Kenya Airways leads the pack as the airline with the best staff on the continent.
Kenya Airways Group Managing Director and CEO, Allan Kilavuka, expressed his gratitude for the recognition.
“This achievement is a testament to the unwavering dedication and exceptional service demonstrated by our team members each day. Receiving the Best Airline Staff Service in Africa award serves as significant motivation for us to continue striving for excellence in service delivery and passenger satisfaction,” he said.
Making a steady come back, South African Airways (SAA) clinched the second spot on the list with a fleet capacity of 12 aircraft, 15 destinations and 2000 employees.
Airlink is Southern Africa’s independent airline measured by flight movements and maintain over 65 aircraft, operating to more than 45 destinations in 15 African countries and to St Helena Island.
Africa’s youngest airline, LIFT, and FlySafair, both South Africa’s domestic carriers, were also recognised on the list of Best Airline Staff in Africa for 2024.
