Starting June 27, 2024, Zambia Airways will introduce three weekly flights from Lusaka to Dar es Salaam in Tanzania and Nairobi in Kenya.
According to tourismnewsafrica.com, Dar es Salaam is the coastal gateway to prime conservation areas in southern Tanzania such as Ruaha, Selous and Nyerere as well as the island of Zanzibar. Nairobi, the Kenyan capital, is the hub for reaching the Masai Mara, Amboseli and other national parks.
This new regional routing connects Zambia to even more destinations, allowing travellers more options of arriving in Lusaka and then connecting to other areas in the country.
The flights will use Kenneth Kaunda International in Lusaka, Julius Nyerere International in Dar es Salaam and Jomo Kenyatta International in Nairobi.
