Akwaaba 2014 promises to be an event like no other as participants will be thrilled with not just educative, informative, inspiring, propelling and networking opportunities, but also an entertaining event as Daniel Omara Pkwiiyulli would be keeping the entertainment coming.
Daniel Omara Pkwiiyulli an entertainer and comedian who had his debut into stardom
in 2009 after he emerged as the 2nd runner up in the very popular DSTV reality TV
competition ‘Standup Uganda’. Though he was not the winner of the ultimate prize, he was indeed the most celebrated contestant by popular demand.
At 21 he was evidently the youngest contestant and was christened the “comedy wonder kid” as he brought in a new flavor to the industry with his intelligent marque of humor.
He has carved a niche for himself over a short period of time, he was the first standup comic to perform at the Big Brother live show. He has dabbled into TV presentation and acting which has made him prominent in the East and Southern Africa. His next target? West Africa.
Comedy is about attaining the perfect balance between imparting knowledge and entertaining the masses. Amid other things it is perfectly the academic tool, because people never forget what they laughed at.
