Tourism: Global cruise lines grounded over Coronavirus

As the spread of the deadly coronavirus continues to gain ground in many countries, global cruise lines across the globe as been grounded.

Effective midnight tonight, Carnival, Celebrity, Holland America, Royal Caribbean, Norwegian, P and O Australia, and MSC have all agreed to suspend outbound cruises for thirty days. Other cruise lines that have recently suspended operations* are listed as follows:

Aida April 10th

Avalon Waterways: May 1st

AmaWaterways: April 26th

Azamara April 11th

Celestyal Cruises: May 1st

Costa Cruises: April 3rd
calling at Italian ports

Cunard North America April 14th

Cruise & Maritime Voyages: April 24th

Crystal Cruises: April 21st – May 8th

Disney Cruise Line: April 1st

Emerald Waterways: April 30th

Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines: May 23rd

MSC Cruises has canceled cruises out of Miami until April 14th

Norwegian Cruise Line: April 11th

Oceania Cruises: April 11th

Paul Gauguin: April 11th

Princess Cruises: May 10th

Regent Seven Seas: April 11th

Royal Caribbean: April 11th

Seabourn April 14th

Silverseas April 14th

Saga: May 1st

Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours: April 30th

Uniworld: April 23rd

Viking (River and Ocean): May 1st

Virgin Voyages: August 7th Scarlet Lady

Windstar Cruises: May 1st
