Residents of Port- Harcourt and beyond are set to get world class health and wellness services with the opening of its first integrated health resort in the city.
Situated in a serene environment in the Garden City, Go Wellness Resort, according to its CEO, Mrs Ejiro Awobasivwe, was born out of a desire to provide wholesome top range wellness services to Nigerians locally, of the highest industry and international standards.
“We don’t have to travel abroad to visit spas and health resorts. Go Wellness is 100% Nigerian owned and poised to cater to the wellness needs of the populace,” she noted.
While harping on the need for Nigerians to make wellness a lifestyle choice, she said: “Too many people are dropping dead daily due to undiagnosed ailments that are totally treatable. We believe in preventive care and are poised to help you eat healthy and enjoy life, eat and exercise right and keep your body young and strong. We are redefining our food mentality and reorienting our exercise experience. Our approach to Wellness and Fitness is unique and revolutionary, designed to bring out the best in you and keep you young, strong and healthy.”
Some of the top – range facilities at the Resort, she stated include a glass house indoor pool fully equipped for aqua aerobics, sauna and hot whirlpool, a beautiful spa for body and beauty treatments as well as two gyms for full body workout and cardio/aerobic exercises among others.
One unique feature at the Resort, she added, is the Wellness Kitchen which specializes in healthy foods, snacks, healthy pastries, drinks, smoothies and ice cream. “In our Wellness Kitchen all products are made with healthy natural ingredients. We reinvent everything making them as natural as possible free of preservatives and inflammatories allowing your food to be your medicine. Our mission is to provide you with the healthiest possible products naturally in the best environment possible.
We also have our Go Nature range which include essential oils made from natural ingredients. The final phase of our project will offer self-contained rooms for our resort guests to give you a home-away-from home ambience to get yourself back in good shape and the best health possible,” she said.
The resort opens officially on November 3rd and 4th, 2018.
