Determined to boost tourism in the state, Governor Ben Ayade has advocated for a special visa office for Calasvagas tourist haven.

The request in the opinion of the Governor is to enable foreign tourists have direct access to the city which is situated on an island as it is done in most part of the world.

According to Ayade the city will be the most beautiful city in the world so it would be proper if a visa office is situated at the city.

He spoke when he received the Controller of immigration of the Cross River state command, barrister Okey Ezuawu on a courtesy call in his office in Calabar.
