Kempinski Hotel opens in Ghana as five-star European luxury meets Ghanaian hospitality

As Europe and American giant international hospitality brands continue to leap in to West Africa to take advantage of the potentials of economic and business gains that continue to swell in that region, the Kempinski, Europe’s oldest luxury hotel group has joined the bandwagon as it has opened its first Hotel in Ghana, The Kempinski Hotel, Gold Coast City. This newest property is well set to cater to offer luxurious hospitality in the grand European style to Accra’s fast growing business travel and leisure tourist market.

Strategically poised and located to satisfy every need of the discerning business and leisure traveler, the Kempinski is set in the heart of Accra’s Government ministries enclave, 25 minutes’ drive from the Kotoka International Airport close to the Accra International Conference Centre and National Theatre.

The hotel comprising of 269 room, it boasts of 22 luxury suites and two Presidential suites all equipped and furnished to the highest  five star standards for an unforgettable stay and luxury work environment.

The facility is edging to make its food and beverage offerings as the signatures appeal of the Kempinski Hotel Ghana, expecting it to be extremely popular.

Spectacular features that stand out the Kempinski Ghana out from the rest include the Pappillon Restaurant masterfully built with its cutting edge design, the Pappillon restaurant features an open kitchen, sophisticated buffet counters and an a la carte menu. Guests   will be spoilt or choice as every taste and preference is catered for.

image009image010The Lobby Lounge is the relaxing meeting place for coffee, light snacks, afternoon tea as well as pre dinner and late night drinks. And the Gallery Bar which offers the ultimate fine dining experience, an array of premium beverages and the best of European Mixology.

And then the Cedar Garden, the hotel’s outdoor specialty restaurant offering a Lebanese inspired menu. The Chez George, a unique fine dining restaurant is opening soon. For shopping enthusiasts, a 7000 square metre of shopping space is available.  A variety of your favourite luxury brands will be available for some much needed retail therapy.

The Kempinski Ghana also host s a health and fitness center. The Hotel breaks down the walls that separate business and leisure travel so that guests can find the right balance between work and play. It also has a spa, the Resense Spa, well equipped with 10 treatment rooms, a hair and beauty salon, 350 square metre health club, a 25 metre outdoor swimming pool and tennis court, providing guests of the hotel space to unwind and work out.
