African Story: The Musician credited for “Socializing” Warri Tony Grey is dead

Nigerian musician, Tony Grey, who kept fans on their toes with his music, is dead.

Top CelebritiesNg reports that the Warri-based singer who was diagnosed of prostate cancer and diabetes died after being on the sick bed for months. The Ozimba crooner was said to have needed funds for medical treatment abroad.

NAIJ.com gathered that the chairman of Onuesoke Foundation, Chief Sunny Onuesoke and the friends of Tony Grey in conjunction with his foundation tried to rescue the musician who had touched the lives of many through his music by contributing the sum of N512,000 for his treatment.

He died before help could come. The ‘Come Back Love’ evergreen crooner, was popular amongst music lovers in the 70’s and 90’s in the old Bendel state now Edo/Delta states.
