However, she said in order to realize the full potential of AFCFTA and increase intra Africa trade, African countries need to remove the barriers to trade and investment between countries.
She said AfriTrade B2B is a platform for businesses from across Africa to meet, network, and do business, adding that one if its uniqueness is the precise match making platform and a one-stop-shop for B2B meetings.
“For this maiden edition We will also be providing workshops and training on how to do business in Africa but more precisely in Nigeria. We have all the relevant stakeholders around and we are grateful for their continuing support.
“I am confident that AfriTrade B2B will be a valuable resource for businesses from across Africa. It will help them to connect with new partners, find new markets, and increase their revenue.
“While we know that AFCFTA still have its challenges I choose to focus on the opportunities it’s present. And a platform like Afritradeb2b will help in harnessing all what AFCFTA Is bringing especially to the private sector.
“AfCFTA is a major opportunity for African businesses. It will create a single market where goods and services can move freely between African countries. This will make it easier for businesses to export their products and services.
“And so, it’s important that we see more and more platforms like Afritradeb2b.
“To be able to reduce the gap and create the opportunity to connect with new partners, new buyers, new distributors, and new investors.
“The opportunity to learn how to do business on the continent within AFCFTA framework.” She said.
