News: Bet9ja Leads as Most Visited Nigerian Website in May 2025 with 32.89 Million Visits

New data released by StatiSense, using figures from SEMrush, shows that Bet9ja topped the list of the most visited Nigerian websites in May 2025, raking in a staggering 32.89 million visits.

The ranking underscores the dominance of betting and entertainment platforms in Nigeria’s online space.

Coming in second is Nkiri, a movie streaming and download site, with 18.47 million visits, followed by another sports betting platform, Betking, with 11.89 million. Online forum Nairaland ranked fourth with10.83 million, maintaining its position as Nigeria’s leading discussion platform.

Here’s a breakdown of the top 15 most visited Nigerian websites by Nigerians in May 2025:

  1. Bet9ja – 32.89 million visits
  2. Nkiri – 18.47 million
  3. Betking – 11.89 million
  4. Nairaland – 10.83 million
  5. Nigerianpasc – 8.74 million
  6. Legit – 6.11 million
  7. Jamb – 5.75 million
  8. Jiji – 4.56 million
  9. Punchng – 4.5 million
  10. 9Jarocks – 4.43 million
  11. Trendybeatz – 4.43 million
  12. NYSC – 3.27 million
  13. Vanguardngr – 3.25 million
  14. Darknaija – 3.13 million
  15. Paystack – 2.27 million

The data highlights how online betting platforms continue to dominate digital traffic in Nigeria, while media, music, movie, and academic sites also maintain strong followings. Surprisingly, only one fintech platform—Paystack—made the top 15, reflecting the strong influence of entertainment over utility in Nigeria’s internet habits.
