The upcoming UK Policy Forum, organized by The Business of Events, has unveiled its stellar lineup of speakers and contributors set to participate in the event on November 8th at IET London, Savoy Place.
Among the latest confirmed speakers is Senthil Gopinath, CEO of the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA), adding his expertise to an already impressive roster.
Gopinath joins a distinguished group of industry leaders, including Chris Gallon, CEO EMEA, Clarion Events; Laura Wilson, Head of Convention Bureau, VisitAberdeenshire; Stephanie Newton, Head of Business Tourism, Marketing Manchester; Ian Edwards, CEO, ICC Wales and The Celtic Collection; and Chris Skeith, Chair, UKEVENTS.
This influential gathering, officially part of International Trade Week (6th – 10th November 2023), aims to foster communication between the events industry and Westminster, shaping a Policy Agenda for the future. The forum will feature sessions on topics such as the export and inbound value of tradeshows, the ‘soft power’ potential of events, and the significance of ambassador programs in driving innovation and change.
The program promises engaging discussions, bringing together government officials, political experts, and industry professionals to explore key themes and strategies. The inclusion of Senthil Gopinath and other prominent figures ensures a diverse and comprehensive perspective on the challenges and opportunities facing the global events sector.
As the event approaches, anticipation is building for the insights and discussions that will shape the trajectory of the events industry in the UK and beyond. With a focus on collaboration and dialogue, the UK Policy Forum is set to be a pivotal moment for the future of event management and policy development.
