News: Global Event Industry Leaders Headline UK Policy Forum As Senthil Gopinath, CEO of ICCA, Among Latest Confirmed Speakers

The upcoming UK Policy Forum, organized by The Business of Events, has unveiled its stellar lineup of speakers and contributors set to participate in the event on November 8th at IET London, Savoy Place.

Among the latest confirmed speakers is Senthil Gopinath, CEO of the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA), adding his expertise to an already impressive roster.

Gopinath joins a distinguished group of industry leaders, including Chris Gallon, CEO EMEA, Clarion Events; Laura Wilson, Head of Convention Bureau, VisitAberdeenshire; Stephanie Newton, Head of Business Tourism, Marketing Manchester; Ian Edwards, CEO, ICC Wales and The Celtic Collection; and Chris Skeith, Chair, UKEVENTS.

This influential gathering, officially part of International Trade Week (6th – 10th November 2023), aims to foster communication between the events industry and Westminster, shaping a Policy Agenda for the future. The forum will feature sessions on topics such as the export and inbound value of tradeshows, the ‘soft power’ potential of events, and the significance of ambassador programs in driving innovation and change.
