His Majesty, Professor Adeyemi AbduKabir Obalanlege, Ph.D., (Lanlege Ekun II, Arole Iganmode, Olofin Apesin Olode), the Olota of the Ancient and Paramount Ottaland, Awori Kingdom, has formally unveiled the official logo commemorating his forthcoming Diamond Jubilee Birthday Celebration and constituted a three-member committee to coordinate the week-long activities scheduled to commence on August 21st and culminate in a Grand Reception on August 28th, 2026.
According to a press release signed by Prince Adeyemi Sulaimon Oluses, Principal Secretary to His Majesty, the commemorative logo is an elegant and masterfully crafted piece of art that eloquently captures the majesty, courage, nobility, and regal essence of the Olota himself. Symbolically reflecting the monarch’s distinguished reign and enduring legacy, the design embodies the strength, dignity, and tigritude associated with Lanlege Ekun II.
The rich blend of royal colors, accentuated in gold and purple, projects splendor, prestige, and royalty, while heralding the significance of this Diamond Jubilee milestone. The logo stands as a visual celebration of six remarkable decades of purposeful leadership, cultural stewardship, scholarship, and service to humanity.
His Majesty has also approved the constitution of a three-member Planning Committee to coordinate the celebrations. The Committee comprises:

The three distinguished chiefs, who are also eminent members of the Olota-in-Council, have been entrusted with the responsibility of organizing a truly royal celebration befitting a monarch whose visionary leadership has firmly placed Ottaland and the Awori Sub-Nationality in the national consciousness while projecting its heritage, identity, and aspirations to audiences across Nigeria and around the world.
The week-long celebration, scheduled to run from August 21st to 28th, 2026, will feature a rich blend of cultural, traditional, religious, community, and royal activities designed to celebrate the life, accomplishments, and enduring legacy of His Majesty.
The festivities will culminate in a Grand Reception on Friday, August 28th, 2026, with King Ayinde Marshall (KWAM 1) on the bandstand, and is expected to attract eminent national leaders, respected statesmen, royal fathers, distinguished public servants, captains of industry, community leaders, and friends of the Ancient and Paramount Ottaland.
