Accordign to @hypetribeng, Wizkid’s win comes in a year marked by intense competition from other Afrobeats heavyweights, including Davido, Burna Boy, Olamide, and rising stars like BNXN and Seyi Vibez.
The chart also reflects the continued rise of South Africa’s amapiano movement, represented prominently by Kelvin Momo, Kabza De Small, and DJ Maphorisa.
