The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), has warned the general public against buying Murtala Muhammed Airport Access gate stickers from Messrs I Cube Nigeria Limited.
This was made known in a press statement signed by the body’s General Manager, Corporate Affairs, Henrietta Yakubu (Mrs.).
The press release further stated that the Authority has severed all business relationships with Messrs I Cube Nigeria Limited.
Consequently, any individual or organization consummating any form of business transaction with Messrs I Cube Nigeria Limited on the Murtala Muhammed Airport Access Plaza is doing so at his or her own peril. The general public is therefore advised to contact the Accounts Department of Murtala Muhammed International Airport for any business transaction or inquiry on the facility.
It would be recalled aviation workers’ unions on Monday 3rd took over the collection of tolls at the access gate of Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) Lagos, from a concessionaire, Integrated Intelligent Imaging West Africa Limited (ICUBE).
The development caused unease for a number of airport users as members of the unions stormed the access gate as early as 7 am to chase away officials of the concessionaire. They were promptly replaced with officials of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN).
