The Ogun State Government has presented a letter of appointment to the Olota- elect, Dr. Adeyemi Abdukabir Obalanlege, of the Ijemo Isolosi Ruling House in Ota, Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Area of the state.
The Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Chief Jide Ojuko, who presented the letter on behalf of the state government, congratulated the Olota- elect on his selection and election, saying due process was followed in the exercises.
Ojuko added that Obalanlege’s appointment was in line with section 23(1) of the Chiefs Law of Ogun State and that, by his appointment, had become a member of the Egba Traditional Council.
The commissioner admonished the monarch-elect to support the present administration, as well as use his wealth of experience to bring about socio-economic development to his domain and the state in general.
