Odeshi priest nurse wound

The word Odeshi is simply a compression of this Igbo sentence, “O dighieshi” which literally means, “It is not leaking”. ‘Odeshi’ was popularised during the reign of the dreaded Bakassi Boys; a vigilante group in Anambra State, Nigeria.

The Bakassi Boys were surrounded with the myth of not being harmed by live bullets or machetes or any metal objects capable of harming any normal human being. That was when ‘Odeshi’ came to mean ‘impregnable’ as it was said that the Bakassi Boys shouted whenever robbers shot them during an exchange of fire.

A renowned Ghanaian native priest is currently nursing a gunshot wound at the Sunyani Government Hospital in the BrongAhafo region of Ghana in a bid to test his supernatural powers.

According to somtoo.com, Desmond aka Nana Tolofasito who believed he had fortified himself against gunshots asked someone to try shooting him with a single barrel gun but the result saw the fetish priest land on the ground and bleeding copiously after he was shot at close range on his chest. According to eyewitnesses, the incident occurred at Sekyedumase Newtown where the fetish priest mans a shrine.

The priest has reportedly asked someone to shoot him and after a while, someone finally agreed to shoot Nana Tolofasito but after the trigger was pulled, it turned out that the priest was not as strong as he had professed. The incident reportedly took place in Sekyedumase Newtown .“He claimed to be more spiritual and asked somebody to shoot him with gun, with the hope nothing was going to happen, but he suffered the consequences of his action and has since been hospitalized”, the eyewitness said.
