Thales announces that Royal Jordanian Airlines’ new B787-8 will be equipped with the Thales AVANT system.

With this milestone, Royal Jordanian Airlines becomes the first to take delivery of Thales’s latest generation system for the Boeing 787-8. The system offers passengers some of the largest in-flight entertainment seat back screens on the market, 17” in Crown (premium) and 10.6” touchscreens in Economy. The award-winning system debuts several newly introduced features.*
The inaugural commercial flight started between Amman and London, Heathrow. The second B787 aircraft is to join the fleet in late September. Another three will follow during October, November and December with the remainder being introduced to the fleet over the next few years.
