The streets of Calabar were alive with color, music, and joy as the 2024 Calabar Carnival, Africa’s Biggest Street Party, delivered an unforgettable spectacle.
With the theme “Our Shared Prosperity” the carnival highlighted the rich diversity of African culture, blending modern flair with traditional charm.

The grand parade featured seven competitive and seven non-competitive bands, captivating revelers with vibrant costumes, electrifying dance routines, and pulsating music.

The procession began at Millennium Park and culminated at the UJ Esuene Stadium, where enthusiastic spectators cheered on the performances.

Local Government Competition

Junior Carnival Winners
