The Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Deradec Travel and Tour Limited, Diana Adwoa Quarshie, has been named among the Africa Travel 100 Women Award.
Diana is an accomplished entrepreneur, devoted wife, and proud mother of four, with over three decades of experience in the travel and tourism industry.
She is the Chief Executive Officer of Deradec Executive Travel and Tour Company Limited, a leading IATA-certified travel agency based in Ghana. Under her leadership, Deradec has become a trusted one-stop destination for a wide range of travel and tourism services, catering to eco-tourists, students, honeymooners, leisure and corporate travelers, adventure seekers, medical tourists, religious tourists, and more.
Deradec caters to both international and domestic tourism and is passionate about bringing the outside world to experience the rich culture and diversity in Ghana and Africa at large.
Diana’s influence in the sector extends beyond her company. She is a former executive of the Tour Operators Union of Ghana (TOUGHA) and the Ghana Association of Travel and Tourist Agents (GATTA).
She is also an active member of the International Trade Council and SheTrades, and a certified partner of Travel Life, reflecting her commitment to sustainable and inclusive tourism.
A passionate advocate for women’s empowerment, Diana has made it a priority to foster gender equity in her organization, where over 50% of the staff are qualified female professionals.
