The Cross River State Tourism Bureau (CRSTB), managers of the Marina Resort, Calabar and the Resort’s Vendors, have agreed on new ways of improving on industry service standards at the Resort while taking into consideration the global impact of the COVID-19 crisis and stay at home order, on activities at the Resort.
The agreement was reached during a meeting with the Managing Director, CRSTB, Mr. Utsu John Atsu, together with the management staff of the Bureau and vendors of the Marina Resort at the Bureau’s Conference Room, Okoi Arikpo House,Calabar.
The Bureau and the Vendors agreed to launch new promotional strategies to keep the Marina Resort very attractive to visitors and customers irrespective of the present day COVID-19 challenge.
The Vendors agreed to operate a new improved operational terms and conditions as well as activating the practice of social distancing, washing of hands, use of hand sanitizers at their outlets, as well as the use of face masks by both vendors, their staff and visitors or customers to the Resort, starting at the Resort’s entrance gate.
The Managing Director, thanked the vendors for their cooperation and acknowledged that with visitor safety guaranteed from the Corona Virus threat, more visitors are likely to pick the Resort for relaxation within this period.
All Vendor outlets at the Marina, have fully adopted all the regulatory practices of business operations with the threat of the Corona Virus Disease.
