For South African participants who took part in the event, it was an opportunity to also explore other tourism offerings of the state. The team made their way to Obudu Mountain resort, it is built in the highest mountain in the state and has the longest cable car in Africa.

Thrilled by the adventure, some of the participants shared their experiences:

For Sonto Mbonambi, she has this to say: “It is time to explore Africa! If u are looking for adventure you will find lots of it. The biggest street party in Africa (Calabar International Carnival) will have u thrilled for days. Who amazing-ride-on-the-cable-cardoesn’t like to try different cuisine? The favourite with South Africans in Nigeria being jollof rice, plantain, suya and egusi soup. Hey, there is no party like Lagos Party! Those people know how to party. Have the best nightlife with the best clubs and the moves…….OMG! Shopping is the best experience. Those markets sell everything and I mean everything and you get to perfect your negotiation skills.
The cherry on top, the people there are so warm and welcoming. They just love South Africans!!
