Tourism: Turkish travel influencers and tour operators begin 10 day tourism exploration across Uganda to promote the Pearl of Africa

A group of leading travel influencers and tour operators from Türkiye has arrived in Uganda for a 10-day familiarization trip designed to explore and promote the country’s diverse and vibrant tourism attractions.

According to ubc.go.ug, the visit, running from July 6–15, 2025, is organized in partnership with the Uganda Tourism Board and includes representatives from notable travel companies such as GlobeMeets, Fly Express, and Plaza Tour, alongside leading digital content creators.

The team is in Uganda to experience and promote the country’s unmatched beauty—from the vast savannahs of Queen Elizabeth National Park to the majestic Murchison Falls and the legendary source of the River Nile. The itinerary also includes gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, white-water rafting, and meaningful cultural interactions with local communities.

By exploring Uganda’s natural wonders and unique cultural heritage, the delegation aims to position the country as a must-visit destination for the Turkish travel market and beyond. As the guests document their journey through breathtaking visuals and engaging stories, Uganda is taking center stage as Africa’s best-kept secret—now ready to be discovered by the world.
