Transgender: Dstv removes Caitlyn Jenners TV show as Nigerians protest show

MultiChoice Nigeria, owners of DStv have dropped the popular controversial transgender reality television , “I Am Cait” from its E! Entertainment channel DSTV 124 and GOtv channel 24 following complaints about the show from Nigerians. ‎

A statement released by the satellite TV company disclosed that they are aware of the concerns raised by some of their viewers regarding the programme “I Am Cait”, a reality show which chronicles Bruce Jenner’s transgender journey and adjustment to living publicly as a transgender woman; Caitlyn Jenner.

According to the statement, the decision for dropping the programme was taken after an instruction from the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC).
