Renowned Hollywood actor, Will Smith has fulfilled his 20-years dream of Bungee jumping in Zambia.
The famous movie actor who was in the South African country for tourism jumped off the Victoria Falls Bridge, a 111-metre plunge into the Zambezi river.
According to Zambia Tourism Agency, Smith, 48, in his video taken while jumping could be heard vividly screaming about his achievement.
While in Livingstone Smith also toured, the Victoria Falls and went to the Livingstone Island which lies adjacent to the Devils Pool.
The news of Smiths visit created a hype on social media, Zambia Tourism Agency’s Facebook and twitter accounts enjoyed numerous shares of the stories posted on the star’s visit. Smith was jovial with his fans who followed him to take selfies and even shake hands with him.
According to the agency, Zambia is notably attracting globally renowned and high-profile people especially to the Victoria Falls.
It said as this trend grows, it is anticipated that the awareness of the country’s tourism profile will be raised and subsequently attract more tourists into the country.
