Detola is a customer-centric Hospitality consultant with focus on quality service which at the long run yields customer satisfaction.
This validates the reason behind her success in generating remarkable ROI for her clients as far as the Hotels, Apartments, Event centres and Food outlets are concerned.
• She currently works as the Founder / Managing Partner for Bien de la Treat Hospitality – a boutique hotel, apartments and tourism consultancy firm in Lagos. She was the erstwhile Chief Sales Officer cum Head of Events for Caesars Luxury Hotel in Lekki, Lagos, Nigeria. Prior to that, she worked as the Marketing Manager for S & S Hotel and Suites in Victoria Island Lagos. She is saddled with the responsibility of generating revenue for the hotel, increased room occupancy and clientele base. She turned the fortune of the hotel around within 6 months of joining by increasing room occupancy from 35% to 75% and replicated the same at several instances in her career journey and has since been sustaining the brand and its presence.
• She started her career with Oriental Hotel as Reservation Officer and was awarded best staff of the month within her first 3 months of joining. She was then later promoted to the role of Reservation Coordinator within the same period in the capacity she served till she left the Hotel. Adetola started her hospitality career with Eko Hotel & Suites as an Intern, which will eventually serve as the bedrock for her unflinching professionalism as she was exposed to industry best practises way early in her career.
• ‘Detola has an HND in Hospitality Management from the foremost Federal Polytechnic, Ede and a Professional Higher Diploma in Hospitality & Tourism Management from the renowned Organization of Tourism & Hospitality Management, UK aside several other certifications. Also, an Associate member of OTHM, UK and Fellow Member of the Hospitality & Tourism Management Association of Nigeria (HATMAN) where she currently serves as the Chairperson for the South-west region. ‘Detola also serves as the financial Secretary for the Federation of Tourism Associations in Nigeria, FTAN, Lagos chapter.
• Passionate about impact as well as youth development in the hospitality and Tourism sector. By virtue of her position, she has remained focused on supporting students in the Hospitality sector to find a professional placement for Industrial Attachment/ SIWES as well as supporting in career growth through sensitization programmes, mentorship and organizing impactful seminars/ programmes
• As a hard worker that she is, ‘Detola happen to be very intentional about Fun time which she spends with friends and family. You can be on the look out for her new start- ups which will be launched soonest.
• ‘Detola believes Tourism is still been scratched on the surface in Nigeria hence she is passionate about its promotions and very open to collaborations as she is determined to use her position as the Chairperson of HATMAN Southwest region to drive profitable and impactful projects and the likes.
• She is married with 3 kids and lives in Lagos state with her family.
