Amaka Tesy Michael is the General Manager of Swiss International The Vistana – Lekki Lagos and the CEO of Vistana Hotels & Residence Limited. Following a successful career with Protea Hotel, Golden Tulip Hotel and Swiss International Mabisel Port Harcourt.
Amaka decided to challenge herself further and explore the industry, she is well known for her doggedness, resilience and tenacity. This explains why she is the first female African General Manager of Swiss International in the world.
Amaka comes with a vast wealth of experience spanning 20 years in the hospitality sector, with 12 of those years spent as general manager. She is a graduate of Business Administration and Management, She also holds an MBA from the prestigious Business School of The Netherlands.
She has never been afraid to break new grounds and demonstrated strong
leadership in a male-dominated organization. She has been popularly known for her perpetually positive personality even under the most crucial challenges and harsh business environments. With her mentorship and stewardship, he consistently maintains the highest ethics and world-class standards for hospitality. It shows through in the quality of her delivery in business operations, business targets, her relationships with guests and associates, as well as, her ability to deliver exceptional experiences.
