Ethiopian Airlines, Africa’s largest and fastest-growing aviation group, has taken delivery of its 22nd Airbus A350-900, marking another significant milestone in the airline’s aggressive fleet modernization and expansion strategy.
According to a post on Ethiopian Airlines’ on ‘X’, the new wide-body aircraft, arriving just weeks after the airline received its 21st A350-900, underscores the airline’s commitment to strengthening its global network with fuel-efficient, state-of-the-art aircraft capable of delivering exceptional passenger comfort and operational performance.
The addition of the 22nd A350-900 will allow Ethiopian Airlines to enhance service on key international routes, ensuring more travelers can experience the next generation of flight. The A350-900, known for its advanced aerodynamics and eco-efficient Rolls-Royce Trent XWB engines, reduces fuel consumption and carbon emissions by up to 25%, supporting Ethiopian Airlines’ ongoing efforts toward greener aviation.
