The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has named Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu as the Chief Host for the 2025 FAAN National Aviation Conference, scheduled for November 17–18 at the Eko Convention Centre.
The upcoming event is expected to convene global and local aviation stakeholders to explore new investment frontiers, forge strategic partnerships, and chart a collective path for the advancement of Nigeria’s aviation industry.
According to press release by the authority, the conferenced themed “Elevating the Nigerian Aviation Industry through Investment, Partnerships, and Global Engagements,” will bring together critical stakeholders, policymakers, investors, and aviation professionals from within and outside Nigeria to deliberate on strategies for positioning the nation’s aviation industry as a catalyst for sustainable national and regional economic growth.
Speaking on the forthcoming event, the Chairperson of the FNAC 2025 Organizing Committee and FAAN’s Director of Human Resources and Administration, Dr. Emiola Luqman, stated:
“The Nigerian aviation industry is at a defining stage, presenting vast opportunities for investment and immolation. With its large and growing population, strategic geographical position, and the Federal Government’s commitment to infrastructure development and regulatory reform, Nigeria offers a strong value proposition for investors. Since its inception, the FAAN National Aviation Conference has evolved into a premier platform for policy dialogue, knowledge exchange, and partnership development in the Nigerian aviation industry.
