Following the highly successful TIME 2023 WTN Tourism Summit held in Bali, Alain St. Ange, a prominent figure in the tourism industry, has received an exclusive invitation to explore one of Indonesia’s most captivating attractions, the Thousand Islands, which includes the picturesque Pulau Seribu.
According to a recent post by the former minister, the island was explored alongside Mrs Sonti Pangaribuan, the Director of Tourism, Alain St.Ange, the Seychelles former Minister of Tourism, Civil Aviation, Ports and Marine & VP of the WTN, H. E. Nico Barito, the Seychelles Envoy at ASEAN based in Jakarta and others from the Indonesian Administration spent a day of discovery of the ‘Thousand Islands’ group outside Jakarta. Using a Government vessel the delegation headed by H.E. Bupati Junaedi and his Director of Tourism visited two Government Islands and a private sector one that is considered a success story with an incredibly high occupancy level in its accommodation establishment.
The Thousand Islands group situated just over an hour by fast boat has been the holiday destination of many in the Who’s Who list of the World’s Business Tycoons who owns thei own Islands and resorts.
Alain St.Ange was invited as a Tourism Consultant to see this group of Islands in order to discuss a way forward that could be entertained for some islands in the Tousand Islands Group.
