The vessel, operated by Oceania Cruises, docked on Wednesday morning, marking a milestone moment for the country’s growing appeal among premium cruise operators. The arrival underscores a rising trend of high-end cruise lines incorporating The Gambia into their West African itineraries.
Passengers aboard the Oceania Sirena were warmly received upon disembarkation by West African Tours Ltd, which coordinated a range of curated shore excursions across the country. The tours offered visitors immersive experiences, showcasing The Gambia’s cultural heritage, natural attractions, and hospitality offerings.
