As preparations intensify for the forthcoming Nigeria–China Food Festival 2026, the Director-General/CEO of NIHOTOUR, Aare Abisoye Fagade, together with members of his management team, today met with Mr. Yang Jianxing, Director of the China Cultural Center and Cultural Counsellor in Nigeria, for a follow-up engagement on the event.
Discussions centred on preparations for the festival, with particular attention to programme coordination, logistics, culinary and cultural showcases, stakeholder participation, and other collaborative efforts aimed at delivering a successful and memorable event.
The engagement further reinforced the commitment of NIHOTOUR and the China Cultural Center to leveraging culinary exchange, culture and hospitality as platforms for promoting mutual understanding, strengthening people-to-people connections, and deepening the longstanding friendship between Nigeria and China
