The Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu has approved the appointment of Mrs. Oyinade Nathan-Marsh as the Permanent Secretary, Lagos State Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture (MTAC).
A release signed by the Head of Service, Mr. Hakeem Muri-Okunola, stated that in approving the appointment due cognisance was taken of the appointee’s integrity, selfless service and track record in the public service.
Nathan-Marsh succeeds Princess Adenike Adedoyin-Ajayi who statutorily retired from the public service on February 19, 2022. The new Permanent Secretary was former Director, Admin and Human Resource as well as Private Secretary to the Secretary to the State Government, Mrs. Folasade Jaji.
While wishing Mrs. Nathan-Marsh a most rewarding and impactful tenure in Office, the Head of Service noted that her appointment took immediate effect.
The new Permanent Secretary started her career in the banking sector but joined the Public Sector as an Administrator with Lagos State Government. She obtained a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Lagos in 1999 and also holds a graduate degree in Political Science from the University of Ilorin.
An erudite and versatile Administrator/Human Resource Practitioner, Nathan-Marsh has since her employment in the State Civil Service contributed meaningfully to the formulation of policies.
She had served in various MDAs including the Civil Service Commission, Governor’s Office, Office of Chief of Staff, Ministry of Economic Planning and Budget, Parastatals Monitoring Office and the Lagos State Mortgage Board.
