The Gambia

The Gambia continues to strengthen regional tourism partnerships as a delegation led by the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture and the Gambia Tourism Board engaged key stakeholders in Dakar, Senegal.

Discussions with SOGIP focused on jointly hosting major events and promoting The Gambia as a leading MICE destination, while talks with the Senegalese Tourist Guides Association addressed cross-border tourism challenges and opportunities.

Both sides agreed to enhance collaboration through familiarisation trips and joint marketing efforts, positioning The Gambia and Senegal as a seamless two-in-one destination for visitors.
