Africa: Air Peace welcomes the First Boeing 777 in Nigerian Aviation History

Nigerian carrier, Air Peace has taken delivery of its first Boeing 777-200ER as part of its fleet expansion drive.

The carrier became the first airline in the history of the country’s aviation to own a 777 aircraft.

The aircraft was received on its arrival at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport by officials of the airline and ceremonially bathed by men of the Federal Airport Fire and Rescue team with water showers at the airport.

Chairman Air Peace, Allen Onyema disclosed that the airline will soon take delivery of additional 777s aircraft before the end of the year noting that airline is set to revolutionise air travel in the country and internationally.

Air Peace recently expanded its route network along the west coast with flight operations the Dakar, Banjul, Free Town and it is also planning on open more routes along west Africa.
