The African Airlines Association (AFRAA) and FlyGabon, the host airline, have announced a further adjustment to the dates of the 58th AFRAA Annual General Assembly (AGA) and Summit, with the premier African aviation gathering now scheduled to take place from 22 to 24 November 2026 in Libreville, Gabon.

The event will be hosted at the prestigious Palais des Congrès Omar Bongo Ondimba (Omar Bongo Ondimba Convention Centre) under the high patronage of the Government of Gabon.

According to the organisers, the latest adjustment followed careful consideration of the international aviation calendar and the scheduling of other unforeseen important events.

The AFRAA AGA and Summit is expected to bring together key players from across the African and global aviation industry, including government officials, airline executives, aviation industry partners, aircraft manufacturers, financiers and service providers.

The gathering serves as a major platform for high-level discussions on the future of African aviation, while providing opportunities for strategic partnerships, business networking and coordinated industry action.

AFRAA said the new dates were carefully selected to facilitate the broadest possible participation and ensure that the event delivers a successful and impactful gathering in Libreville.

The association expressed appreciation to its members, partners, speakers, sponsors and delegates for their understanding and flexibility following the scheduling adjustment.

The 58th AFRAA AGA and Summit is expected to provide an important platform for African aviation stakeholders to examine industry challenges and opportunities while developing strategies to strengthen connectivity, cooperation and the competitiveness of the continent’s aviation sector.
