Nigerian carrier, Green Africa, has secured another aircraft to boost its domestic operations in the country, just as it plans to expand its route network in the country.
Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Green Africa, Babawande Afolabi disclosed this in an email sent to the airline’s customers.
He said: “We have some good news to share with you. We would like you to be the first to know that Green Africa has secured an additional aircraft! This new capacity will allow us to serve you even more reliably and also deliver on the planned expansion which we communicated to you earlier this year.
“Thank you for continuing to choose Green Africa as your preferred carrier. It is because of your support that Green Africa is able to reach new heights as a leading value carrier in the country” he said.
Green Africa airline airlifted about 300,000 passengers within one year of its operations of commencement of flight services in the aviation sector with 6, 261 flights operated within the period.
It had commenced operations with a Lagos-Abuja-Lagos flight in 2021, but currently flies to eight destinations in the local market. The routes are; Lagos, Ilorin, Abuja, Owerri, Akure, Port Harcourt, Benin, and Enugu.
