Broadlink Aviation & Tours Services to take advantage of online options
Travel technology expert Illusions Online has signed its first B2C client in Nigeria, Lagos-based Broadlink Aviation & Tours Services.
Broadlink, which offers outbound and inbound travel services across Africa on a B2C and B2B basis, will implement the Illusions solution giving the company a “competitive edge”, according to CEO, Captain Michael A. Omokore.
“In Africa, we don’t have many online travel portals, but they are sorely needed because the demand to book on the Internet is most definitely there,” he explained.
“I believe that by implementing the Illusions system and offering our services online to our customers and clients, we will automatically become a leader in many markets.
“Over the next five years we will significantly increase our market share in at least 22 African countries, including Nigeria, South Africa, Egypt, Ghana, Angola, the Gambia and the Ivory Coast, all of which have huge demand for quality travel services. We also want to break into new markets such as Morocco.”
Illusions Online VP sales Hind Zahid said the Broadlink partnership marked yet another milestone for the Dubai-based travel technology company.
“The Nigerian travel market has pent-up demand and therefore huge growth potential,” she asserted. “Partnering with a major local B2C player will not only raise our profile in the country but across Africa where Broadlink has a growing network of clients and customers.”
The online booking engine will allow B2C and B2B clients to purchase the company’s entire product range online, in real time, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
