Carnival Calabar: Cross River state to hold one day enterpreneurship training on creative economy

The Cross River State Government has said arrangements have been completed for a one day enterpreneurship training on creative economy using Carnival Calabar and festival as a case study.

The training is for young aspiring enterpreneurs with a passion for the creative arts and cultural events. This was made known in a statement signed by the Executive secretary of the state, Hon. Austine Cobham.

According to him, the event is set to hold on the 13th December 2024 at Pristinevilla Events in Calabar, Cross River state. The objective of the training is to look at the impact of Calabar Carnival on the economic development of Cross River State. This is coming after a one training for marshals for 2023 Carnival Calabar was held by Cross River state Carnival Commission.
