Ethiopian Airlines To Operate from Kaduna Airport
Ethiopian Airlines will join other Foreign carriers in the Nigerian aviation industry to relocate their operation from the Nnamdi Azikwe Airport to Kaduna Airport, following the government’s decision to close the airport for repairs.
Reiterating its commitment to stand with the Nigerian aviation industry the airline said the closure of the Abuja airport won’t affect it from operating into Kaduna airport.
The federal government had earlier intimated airline operators and other stakeholders in the sector of its decision to close the airport for major runway repairs from the 8th of March 2017.
Ethiopian airlines announced that it is here to stay and will stand with the country through thick and thin having operated in the industry for over since Independence in 1960
It stated that the airline will remain in the country just like it did when the industry was faced with forex crisis which forced some major foreign carriers like United Airlines, Iberia pulling out of the country, while other carriers were forced to scale down on the operations.
