Tourist Visa

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has introduced a groundbreaking initiative to enhance travel convenience for tourists.

The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Port Security (ICP) has announced a new tourist visa that includes built-in health insurance, providing added security and peace of mind for international visitors.

According to travelandleisureasia.com, as part of its transformational projects, this revolutionary initiative aims to provide health insurance directly alongside the UAE tourist visas, offering visitors greater convenience and peace of mind.

The move supports the tourism and healthcare sectors in the UAE, further strengthening the country’s position as a leading travel destination.

The electronic platform will manage the issuance and pricing of health insurance packages from all major insurance providers in the UAE. This simplifies the process for tourists, allowing them to choose the right health insurance with their UAE travel visa while applying online for their visa through the ICP app or on the official website.

In line with the ‘We Are the Emirates 2031’ vision, the UAE’s transformational projects are considered qualitative initiatives that showcase an impact on the related sector within a short duration.

The UAE is already a major tourist hotspot, offering visitors a wide range of attractions. From Dubai’s iconic Burj Khalifa, Miracle Garden, and Mall of the Emirates to Abu Dhabi’s Ferrari World, Qasr Al Hosn Fortress, and SeaWorld Yas Island, there’s something for everyone. UAE tourism also includes numerous beaches, casinos, monuments, adventure activities, and cultural wonders in major cities like Sharjah, Ras Al-Khaimah, Al Ain, and Fujairah.
