Miss Rwanda 2015 is Doriane. She also won Miss Popularity. Also the crowds favourite. She is So smart an onlooker wondered why she needed the crown . The Miss Rwanda contest is tagged RBBC meaning Rwanda, Brains, Beauty and Culture. The smartest two came 1st and 2nd meaning that the accent was on brains. In Rwandan tradition a king does an audition of the smartest girls in town. He gets to keep the best and allows other high ranking people to take the others but now a forward looking Rwanda that has the most empowered women in the world are using the contest to further enhance the country brand as a smart African country. Women own 56% of the land in Kigali and are over 40% in government. They are listed as the best country to be born a woman.

Doriane Kundwa was crowned Miss Rwanda 2015 in front of an excited audience at the Kigali Serena Hotel on Saturday night.
The 19-year old Northern Province student saw off the challenge of the 14 other finalists after the contestants underwent a grueling three rounds of questions and catwalks that reduced the 15 down to a final five, Lynca Akacu, Fiona Ntaringwa, Vanessa Raissa Uwase, Balbine Mutoni and the eventual winner Doriane Kundwa.
After vetting the girls, the judges, musician Intore Masamba, Kigali Fashion Week organizer, John Munyeshuli and, former Miss Kigali, Cynthia Akazuba announced the winners of the various crowns.
Doriane Kundwa was also crowned Miss Popularity, Darlène Gasana was crowned Miss Heritage, Sabrina Ihozo Kalisi is Miss Photogenic and Miss Congeniality was Joannah Bagwire. >>Click Here to watch pictures<<
