Tourism: Africa’s First female national park CP transferred to Old Oyo national park from Cross River in Nigeria

The First female Conservator of Cross River National Park, Caroline Samuel Olory has been transferred to Old Oyo National Park.

According to a statement by the agency, sequel to the posting of CP Caroline Samuel Olory (CP CRNP) to Old Oyo National Park, CP Zana Lawan, took over the leadership of Cross River National Park on the 11th of August, 2021.

The outgoing Conservator of Park, CP Olory appreciated the Management team for the cooperation given her during the period she was heading the Park. She also urged them to cooperate with the Incoming CP to achieve the Service’ mandate.

CP Zana Lawan on his part extolled the virtues of the outgoing CP and her dedication to Biodiversity Conservation. He also reiterated that he is at home in Cross River, having worked in CRNP as HOU ERM some years back.
