The Chief Executive Officer, Angel Style World Travels & Tours Ltd, a leading Nigerian Travel and Tourism Company, Mrs. Faridah Sagaya has been named among the winners of Africa’s Travel 100 Women Award.

A passionate entrepreneur and dynamic leader, she has established Angel Style as a trusted brand renowned for curating premium cultural, leisure, corporate, and wellness travel experiences across Nigeria and internationally.

Her journey into tourism began in the late 1990s when she pioneered domestic tour packages to destinations such as Owu Waterfall, Old Oyo National Park, Esie Museum, and the Osun-Osogbo Grove. She also partnered with Skyline Airline to facilitate flights into Ibadan and Ilorin between 1999 and 2001, breaking barriers of accessibility at a time when domestic tourism awareness was low. While she later expanded into outbound travel to meet market demands, her pioneering work laid vital foundations for Nigeria’s domestic tourism growth.

Today, Mrs. Sagaya is widely celebrated as a visionary who uses tourism as a driver of cultural preservation, economic empowerment, wellness, and corporate innovation. She serves as the Official Tour Operator for the Ilorin Emirate Grand Durbar, one of Nigeria’s most iconic cultural festivals, where she oversees sponsorship mobilization, logistics, product development, and high-level stakeholder engagement with government, corporate sponsors, and international partners.

She also promotes indigenous heritage by supporting initiatives such as the Alaaro Aso-Oke Weavers and Dada Pottery in Ilorin, showcasing her commitment to using tourism as a tool for identity, family bonding, and cross-cultural understanding.

Highly networked across Nigeria’s business, cultural, and tourism sectors, she is an Executive Committee Member of SKAL International (Lagos Club), a Lite Member of ABTA, and actively engages with NATOP, NANTA, ATB, and other global tourism bodies. She is a regular participant at international forums, investment summits, and cultural showcases.

Her numerous recognitions include being named among the  Top 100 Tourism Personalities in Nigeria (2020), winner of the Best Supporter of Domestic Tourism in Nigeria Award (2021), and recipient of the Award of Excellence (Travel & Tours Personality) for her contributions to Hospitality and Tourism Development in Kwara State. Under her leadership, Angel Style was also recognized as Best Domestic Tour Operator in 2020 (Balearic Awards).
