The President, Hotel Owners Forum Abuja (HOFA), Barr. Mrs Funmi Kazeem has won the coveted Africa Travel 100 Award which recognises exceptional women in the travel and tourism sector.
Barr. Mrs Funmi Kazeem who is one of the award recipients is an accomplished professional, a legal luminary, a seasoned administrator, an hotelier per excellence, the second female president of Hotel Owners Forum Abuja.
She hails from Irepodun/Ifelodun Local Government Area oF Ekiti State. She is married to Dr Olanrewaju kazeem and the marriage is blessed with lovely Kids. Barr Mrs Funmi Kazeem is a kind and a devoted Christian.
Barr Mrs Funmi Kazeem attended several schools which included our Lady of Apostles Convent Primary Yaba, Lagos State where she had her Primary School Certificate, thereafter she moved on to the famous Methodist Girls High School Yaba, Lagos to obtain a senior School Certificate.
She then proceeded to the prestigious University of Lagos Ojo Lagos State where she acquired a bachelor Degree in English Studies.
Years later, she enrolled into University of Abuja where she obtained a degree in Public Administration but not fully satisfied or fulfilled because of her age long ambition to be a lawyer, she quickly enrolled to read law in the same University of Abuja.
She came out with flying colours that saw through law school in the 2016.
Our ever ambitious and dogged Barr Funmi Kazeem, not relenting in her pursuit for more knowledge is currently running a master’s program in Law from the same University of Abuja.
Barr Funmi Kazeem is a certified Forensic Investigator, she also has a certificate from Dispute Resolution Associate Ltd Abuja. Another certification from Financial Institute Training Centre for Non-Executive Directors of Micro Finance Banks. She is also a certified member of Nigerian Institute of Management.
Barr. Funmi Kazeem has achieved a lot for herself as she is currently the President of Hotel Owners Forum Abuja (HOFA), a Forum that has become a household name in the Federal Capital Territory FCT Abuja and its environs. Prior to now, she is the managing Director of Peace Haven Hotel, Wuye Abuja. She also served at Lizzabozz Properties Nig Ltd as a Project Director.
