The Managing Director, Deans Travel Centre Limited, Kenya, Patrick Maina Kamanga, has been listed as one of the winners of the African Travel 100 Global Leaders Award for his remarkable achievement towards the growth of the tourism sector in Africa.
Deans Travel Centre Ltd was established in November 2004 and celebrating its 20 years corporate anniversary this year.
Over the years, the Company has exercised a professional, flexible, customer focused and caring approach in offering the best travel options to both leisure and corporate clientele.
The Company is led by Mr. Patrick Maina Kamanga – its’ Managing Director since inception who also doubles as the Chairman Coast Region Kenya –Kenya Association of Travel agents as well as Tourism Director in Mombasa Tourism Council a department with Mombasa County Government.

Patrick has a Masters in Tourism as well as Diploma & Degree in IATA Travel Operations.
He joined the industry in 1991 through Priya Travels (now defunct) and the then Express Travel Group now Hemingway’s Travel.
Patrick founded Good News Children Ministry in 1994 to cater for destitute, orphans and widows of which he steers to date with over 300 children and many widows benefiting.
He has been on the front line pushing for intra Africa travel speaking at many African forums encouraging Africa to Travel Africa.

In 2016 Amadeus IT Africa awarded him with Africa Travel award. And in 2018 he was again awarded the Amadeus Shujaa award Africa recognition of pushing Travel amongst partners in the Travel & Aviation industry.
