Nice Uwase, Director of Sales and Revenue Optimization at the Radisson Blu Hotel and Kigali Convention Centre has named as one of the Africa Travel 100 under 40 award winners by the organisers of Akwaaba Travel Market, West Africa’s largest travel expo and Atqnews.com.
Nice Uwase is a skilled professional with more than a decade of experience in the hospitality Industry. She currently holds the position of Director of Sales and Revenue Optimization at the Radisson Blu Hotel & Kigali Convention Centre.

Nice has a keen interest in Business Intelligence, Sales Strategy, Marketing, and Revenue Optimization, and her past contributions have shown her to be a competent achiever. She has played a crucial role in opening international hotels in Rwanda, including the Kigali Convention Centre, Radisson Blu Kigali, and Park Inn by Radisson.
Nice began her career in the hospitality industry with Kempinski Hotels.
She holds a bachelor degree in Business, Economics, and Finance from the Independent University of Kigali, and an MBA from the University of Suffolk in the United Kingdom.
One of her most significant accomplishments is hosting over 2500 international events at the Kigali Convention Centre since 2016.
Nice has been instrumental in spearheading the business recovery from COVID-19 and achieving significant revenue growth of over 50% compared to pre-pandemic recorded revenues.
She has also mentored and developed team members to significant roles and titles, with some joining important hotel brands outside of Rwanda. Nice passion is to contribute to taking Rwanda’s hospitality industry to an exceptional level, recognized across the globe.
