East African Country has beaten Kenya and South Africa in best travel destinations globally.
According to kenyans.co.ke, Tanzania is home to four travel destinations that have been ranked among the best in the world by TripAdvisor.
In the ranking, Tanzania beat Kenya and South Africa which had only one destination on the top 25 slot; Maasai Mara National Reserve and Kruger National Park.
Tanzania, on the other hand, had Serengeti National Park, Kilimanjaro National Park, Tarangire National Park and Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
The Maasai Mara reserve is hailed for the wildebeest migration, the Mara River crossing spectacle. The destination serves as home to different types of wildlife including cheetahs, elephants, zebras, hippos and lions.
“This reserve is connected to Serengeti National Park at the border between Kenya and Tanzania, and is also known for wildebeest migration, seen here crossing the Mara River.”

The ranking took into account the quality and quantity of traveler reviews and ratings on the site in order to produce the top one per cent.
The ranking also took into consideration the Viator 2022 travel trends report, derived from a survey of 1,000 consumers from the United States of America (USA).
Deloitte’s travel industry outlook also contributed to the ranking, highlighting that beaches lead among all destination types, followed by cities and outdoor experiences.
“According to the Viator 2022 travel trends report, outdoor activities grew 153 percent between 2019 to 2021,” read part of the report.
The Maasai Mara National Reserve is hailed as one of the most enriching destinations for tourists, both locals and foreign, to embrace the Kenyan experience and culture.
